Thanks for the explination and details. I had high hopes for the automatic upgrade feature built in. I too have used the Automatic Upgrade Plugin but it always made me nervous, dunno why. So much better to have the feature supported by Wordpress. It will be interesting to see if anyone else has similar issues. Pretty sure this isn't isolated. But then this is a new feature and it can only get better. I was wondering if the installed plugins made a difference... Guess it it going to be a bit hit and miss for a while.
