The price comparison market has literally gone through the roof over recent years, I always advise people to compare the prices of pretty much everything before buying. You almost always save money!

I've got a couple of websites that may be useful for your list. Abe Books is great if you're looking for rare or out of print books. Tech-wise, Simplifydigital is my favourite. I always use it to compare broadband but it's for all digital services, HDTV, home phone etc.

Great list of price comparison sites. If you are a college student like me you can also check out also works on mobile phones. I can now do a quick price comparison on my phone while I am at the bookstore to decide if I want to buy my book.
